Depression, the endless loop.

Imagine the infinity sign.

Once you get on the depression bus, it’s really hard to get off.

You start off life being depressed.

Being depressed keeps you from doing things you want to do.

You get depressed and frustrated that you aren’t doing things you want to do.

Rinse. Repeat.

But, it is possible to get off. First, you have to know that you are depressed. Counseling. Then perhaps, medication. I imagine it’s kind of like being an alcoholic. At least in respect that your constantly aware that it’s a part of your personality. The medication (zoloft in my case), helps with the symptoms. But, it will never go away.

I handle social anxiety the same way.

Zoloft helps me, too. But, you’re right, it never “goes away.” Thanks for blogging.
